Forgefix ForgeFast Wood Screws are designed for interior woodworking projects such as furniture, cabinetry, and framing. Featuring Elementech 400 coating for corrosion resistance and a salt spray rating of up to 400 hours, they are designed to withstand challenging conditions. The screws have a non-Cr³+ yellow/Zinc plated surface that is environmentally friendly. A deep Torx compatible head reduces cam-out, enabling higher torque and a firmer drive. The patented drill/drive shank and self-drilling thread allow faster driving with no pilot hole required, and the shank is engineered to resist splitting while driving into most substrates, including hardwood. A sharp point aids quicker biting, and the hardened case and core provide strength. The design improves countersinking, reduces the risk of loosening in flexing substrates, and supports load-bearing timber construction when CE approved. A free Torx bit is included with every box.
