ForgeFix FFT6240Y Elite Low-Torque Wood Screws 6.0 x 240mm Box 100

ForgeFast Wood Screws are engineered for elite performance in a wide range of wood applications. They feature Elementech 400 surface coating for corrosion resistance and are salt spray tested for up to 400 hours. The screws use a deep Torx compatible head to reduce cam-out, enable higher torque, and provide a firmer drive. A patented drill/drive shank and patented self-drilling thread minimize timber splitting, prevent jacking and spinning of joined timber, and deliver faster drive with increased pull-out and a firmer fix. The design includes a sharp point capable of piercing 0.8 mm steel and a self-drilling shank that drives into most substrates, including hardwood. The coating is non-Cr Cr3+ yellow/Zinc plated, an environmentally friendly finish, and the screws are CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction. Flexing substrates are accommodated by a design that flexes to 35°, reducing the likelihood of screw shearing in flexible materials. A free Torx bit is included in every box.
