The Forgefast Wafer Head Torx® Compatible Construction Screws are designed for fixing into softwood and hardwood. They feature a deep Torx® compatible insert to reduce cam-out, allowing higher torque and a firmer drive. A patented self-drilling thread eliminates the need to pre-drill, reducing the likelihood of timber splitting, even near edges. The screws have a hardened core and case for exceptional strength and are protected by elementech 2000 surface treatment, providing corrosion resistance for extended durability. They are highly resistant to pull-out and can flex up to 35°, reducing the risk of shearing when used in flexible materials. Suitable for load-bearing timber construction, these screws are CE approved and come in a tan elementech 2000 finish. Each tub contains 35 screws, sized 8 x 220mm.
