ForgeFix Hex Head Lightning Bolts offer virtually stress-free fixing for close-to-edge applications. They are self-threading and permit quick, easy installation in most masonry fixing situations by screwing into a pre-drilled hole without the need for a sleeve or plug. Through-fixing eliminates marking and re-positioning, while the thread interlock provides a high load capacity for various installations. The bolts feature an Elementech coating for superior anti-corrosion protection and have been salt spray tested to 1,000 hours. Suitable for most masonry substrates including concrete and brickwork, they can also anchor into hollow blocks due to the thread type along the full length of the fixing. Common applications include fixing battens, balustrades, handrails, racking, and holding down machinery, among other installations.
