Spectre by Forgefix presents an advanced multi-purpose wood screw system designed for load-bearing timber construction. This Mega Tub package features CSK zinc yellow passivated screws sized 5.0 x 100 mm, supplied with four PZ2 bits. The screws feature a countersunk, Pozidrive-compatible recessed head and are fully threaded up to 50 mm, incorporating a sawtooth thread to help prevent splitting. A type 17 slash point allows a quick start, while a reamer helps prevent jacking when driving screws up to 50 mm and beyond. They are surface hardened and include synthetic lubrication to aid insertion. The zinc yellow passivation finish provides corrosion resistance and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. These screws are CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction.
