Forgefix Spring Washers M12 Zinc Plated Bag 100

These Forgefix Spring Lock Washers are ring-shaped, split at one point and bent into a helix. This design allows the washer to exert a spring force between the fastener's head and the base item, effectively preventing loosening due to movement or vibration. The washers are bright zinc plated, enhancing their corrosion resistance and making them suitable for various bolting applications, particularly in engineering and machinery. They are compatible with all types of bolts and nuts. Zinc coatings prevent oxidation of the protected metal, forming a barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode if the barrier is damaged. Zinc oxide, left intact, can act as a barrier to further oxidation, similar to oxide layers on aluminum and stainless steels.
