Forgefix Pozidriv Self-Tapping Screws are zinc-plated to enhance corrosion resistance and feature a Pan Head with a flat under-head surface, allowing them to sit flush on sheet materials and minimize deformation. These screws tap their own thread in pre-drilled pilot holes in sheet metal and are single-threaded to resist pull-out, making them suitable for a wide range of DIY, ironmongery, engineering, electrical, and plumbing applications. The Pozidriv drive provides high torque with reduced cam-out when used with proper tooling, and is identifiable by a line embossed at 45° to the slots. Zinc coatings form a protective barrier and can act as a sacrificial anode if damaged, helping to preserve substrate integrity.
