FOX INTERNATIONAL Captive Back MK2 | Carpfishing Lead SystemAchieve unparalleled control and superior bite indication with the FOX INTERNATIONAL Captive Back MK2, the ultimate carpfishing backweight system designed for anglers who demand precision in their line presentation. Engineered to solve the most common challenges faced on the bank, the Captive Back MK2 is an essential piece of fishing equipment for tackling difficult venues and targeting wary carp. When perfect line lay and stealth are paramount, this system delivers uncompromising performance. The primary purpose of the Captive Back MK2 is to pin your mainline down to the lakebed, effectively concealing it from cautious fish and keeping it safe from environmental interference. This is especially crucial in venues with significant undertow, strong currents, or frequent boat traffic. By anchoring your line securely, the backweight prevents the current from creating a large bow in your line, which can cause false bleeps on your alarms and significantly reduce the sensitivity of your bite indication. With the Captive Back MK2, you can be confident that any indication on your alarm is a genuine sign of fish activity. One of the standout benefits of this system is its innovative release mechanism. The heavy backweight is designed to release the line upon the strike. This an an exceptional advantage, as it instantly grants you direct, uninhibited contact with the fish. Without the backweight attached during the fight, you can feel every movement, lunge, and head shake, giving you a superior tactical advantage and a more exhilarating experience. This direct connection ensures better control and reduces the chance of a hook pull.Engineered for reliability and line safety, the system features a precision mechanical gate latch. This design ensures a perfectly smooth and consistent line release every single time, without causing any damage, nicks, or abrasion to your mainline. You can fish with confidence, knowing your line´s integrity is protected. The Captive Back MK2 is a complete and user-friendly system. It is supplied on its own dedicated winder, pre-loaded with 10 meters of highly visual, bright orange cord. This allows for effortless deployment, simply clip it on and allow the backweight to slide freely down your mainline until it settles perfectly on the lake or river bed. The vibrant cord makes retrieval simple and visible. For ultimate convenience on the bank, the winder itself is designed to attach neatly to your snag ears or directly underneath your bite alarm, keeping your setup tidy and efficient. When your session is over, the backweight clips securely onto the winder for safe, compact, and tangle-free storage, ready for your next outing.Features:- Heavy backweight that can release the line on the strike allowing you direct contact with the fish- Ideal for venues with heavy currents and boat traffic- Mechanical gate latch design for smooth line release- Supplied on its own winder with 10m of highly visual, orange cord- Cord freely dispenses allowing the backweight to slide down the line and settle on the lake bed- Winder can attach to snag ears or underneath your alarm- The backweight clips onto the winder for safe storageSpecifications:- Weight: 1.25oz / 35g. tradeinn Waveinn
