Engineered for the dedicated carp angler, these reels feature a high-performance front drag system that provides smooth, precise clutch control, ensuring you stay in total command when playing big fish. To ensure impeccable line lay and increased casting distance, both models feature slow oscillation. This refined movement wraps line onto the spool with extreme precision, reducing friction and allowing for effortless, long-range delivery. At the heart of the EOS FD 14K is its ultra-responsive front drag system. This micro-adjustable drag allows you to transition seamlessly from a free-running spool to a locked-down fighting action, giving you the confidence to apply pressure when needed and the finesse to manage powerful lunges from trophy-sized carp. The smoothness of the drag minimises the risk of hook pulls, keeping you connected during the most critical moments of the fight.Casting performance is taken to the next level thanks to the super slow oscillation. This technology ensures immaculate, parallel line lay on the large, high-capacity spool. The result is a significant reduction in friction as the line leaves the spool, enabling you to achieve maximum distance and accuracy with every cast. Combined with the Pro Cast Lip on the spool, your line will peel off effortlessly, helping you reach distant features and feeding spots with ease.Built for power and efficiency, the reel boasts a robust 4.6:1 gear ratio that delivers impressive cranking power, perfect for retrieving heavy leads or guiding large fish away from snags. This is complemented by an impressive retrieval rate of 108cm of line per single turn of the handle, allowing you to bring in your rigs from long range quickly and efficiently. The operation is made silky smooth by a system of 6 stainless steel ball bearings plus one roller bearing, which ensures flawless performance and longevity. Further enhancing line management, a Twist Free Roller actively prevents line twist, maintaining the integrity and performance of your mainline over time.Finished in a discreet, stylish matte black with minimal graphics, the EOS FD 14K looks as good as it performs. It's a reel that offers the core features of a high-end model without the premium price tag, making it the definitive choice for anglers who demand reliability and performance cast after cast.Specifications:* Line Capacity: 550m of 0.35mm* Gear Ratio: 4.6:1* Weight: 606g* Oscillation: Slow* Line Retrieve: 108cm per handle turn. tradeinn Waveinn
