FPNYLOC10SS Nyloc Nuts & Washers M10 Stainless Steel Pack 8

The ForgeFix Nyloc Nuts are made from A2 stainless steel and incorporate a nylon locking component that grips the bolt to secure the nut in position. The nylon insert has a smaller inside diameter than the nut, which locks the nut by squeezing around the bolt when tightened. This design helps prevent loosening under vibration by resisting turning as the nylon wedges into the bolt threads. The nuts are hexagonal to be driven by a wrench and provide good torque. Stainless steel offers corrosion resistance and is used where both the properties of steel and resistance to corrosion are required, though it is not completely stain-proof in low-oxygen, high-salinity, or poorly circulated environments. These Nyloc nuts are intended for permanent fastening where movement or vibration must be controlled, and can be used with various bolt products, including HT bolts, carriage bolts, and threaded rod. The pack contains 8 pieces in size M10.
