Night Owl™ table lamp with ash wood base - Design: Nicholai Wiig Hansen The Night Owl™ table lamp features a conical ash wood base topped with a rotating aluminium lampshade that allows you to adjust the light to suit your personal lighting needs. Its aesthetic design looks very decorative in any location, whether on a bedside table, a side table in the living room or on a chest of drawers. Night Owl™ emits its light indirectly, bathing the surroundings in a soft light that contributes significantly to a cosy atmosphere. Nicholai Wiig Hansen, who founded his own design studio in 1990 at the age of 26 and has since created a number of well-known designs, such as the "Jules" desk chair, the "PS" cabinet, the "Sintra" table and the "Geo" thermos flask, created this simple yet extravagant light source. In his designs, he attaches great importance to a well-thought-out concept of proportions and colours, adding details only if they have a practical or aesthetic purpose. The Danish company FRITZ HANSEN produces the Night Owl™ table lamp. The company's history began in 1872 with the carpenter FRITZ HANSEN from Nakskov, who obtained a trading licence for Copenhagen and then founded his own business, where he and later his son Christian manufactured high-quality furniture and other furnishings, which earned them a high reputation and important commissions, such as furnishing the university library and the town hall in Copenhagen. Through collaborations with renowned designers such as Bruno Mathsson, Jo Hammerborg, Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner and Grethe Mayer, the company has achieved a high reputation beyond Denmark's borders in its nearly 150-year history. Since 1979, 75% of FRITZ HANSEN has been owned by Skandinavisk Holding.

Lamp MastersThe Night Owl table lamp in Matte Midnight Blue/Ash was designed by Nicholai Wiig Hansen. It has an organic and asymmetrical shape, which makes it a decorative lamp that can be placed anywhere that needs mood lighting. You can place it on your sideboard, your windowsill or a small table to create a cosy light in the room. The lampshade can be moved into four different positions, so you can easily change the direction of the light. Night Owl is available in Midnight Blue, named after the blue midnight sky, and Smokey White, named after the creamy white colour of the clouds above.
