FUND AND GO Joint Background 6mm x 10m | Professional Joint Filling SolutionAchieve professional, long-lasting seals in your construction and renovation projects with the FUND AND GO Joint Background 6x10 m. This essential hardware component is the secret to creating a flawless, durable, and cost-effective finish when working with glues, silicones, and sealants. Designed for both professional tradespeople and dedicated DIY enthusiasts, this joint background rod ensures that every application is optimized for maximum performance and longevity. It is the perfect preparatory tool for sealing expansion joints, filling cracks, and preparing gaps in a wide variety of materials and settings. The primary benefit of using the Fun&Go Joint Background is the significant improvement in the quality and durability of your sealant application. By acting as a depth limiter, it creates the ideal joint depth, which is crucial for the sealant´s ability to flex and move with the structure. This prevents sealant failure caused by excessive thickness or improper adhesion. It effectively gives a stop to the material with which the sealing is performed, ensuring a clean, controlled, and economical application every time. You will use less silicone or sealant, saving both time and money on every project.Enhanced Sealant Performance and DurabilityCrafted from closed-cell expanded polyethylene, this joint background rod provides a stable and non-absorbent base for any sealing task. Its closed-cell structure means it will not absorb water, preventing moisture from becoming trapped within the joint, which can lead to sealant breakdown, mold growth, or frost damage in exterior applications. By preventing three-sided adhesion (where the sealant sticks to the bottom of the joint), it ensures the sealant adheres only to the two sides of the joint. This creates a flexible hourglass shape, allowing the seal to withstand expansion, contraction, and movement without tearing or losing its bond, resulting in a much longer-lasting and more resilient seal.Versatile Applications for Every ProjectThe versatility of the FUND AND GO Joint Background makes it an indispensable tool for a vast range of applications. It is expertly designed for filling cracks or acting as a depth limiter in the sealing of expansion joints, making it ideal for large-scale projects involving facades and pavement. Its precision and reliability are also perfect for more detailed work, such as glazing, where it functions as one of the best Gaskets to ensure a weathertight seal around windows. Use it to prepare joints in flooring before applying sealant, fill gaps around door and window frames, and manage cracks in concrete or masonry. Its flexibility allows it to conform easily to irregular shapes, ensuring a snug fit in any gap.Product Summary: Joint Background Ø6mm Gray 10m. Fun&Go.
