The Bentonite Earthing Kit by Gallagher provides a quick and effective solution for earthing in dry or sandy soils, ensuring proper grounding for fencing equipment. Designed to be used with earth rods, the kit blends a salt and absorbent clay-based Bentonite mix with water and fills the earthing hole before inserting the earth rod. It is suitable for general use and particularly beneficial for very powerful pasture fencing energisers. The mix retains moisture to improve soil conductivity, making good earthing achievable even in challenging soil conditions. Note that earth rods are sold separately from the Bentonite earthing mix and clamp.

Usage

Mix the Bentonite with water as directed and fill it into the earthing hole. Insert the earth rod (1 m or 1.7 m options available separately) into the filled hole. Attach the earth clamp included in the kit to complete the grounding setup. Use in combination with earth rods for effective earthing of the fence energiser. The Bentonite mix is designed to improve conductivity in poor soils and supports reliable operation of the fence system.
