The Multiconnect intermediate plate and tape joiner is a multifunctional product that functions as a stainless steel tape joiner and intermediate plate for the TurboStar and Turboline strain insulators. It is designed to improve the safety and efficiency of your ribbon fence. Multifunctional With the Multiconnect, the Turboline corner insulator can be used as a start or end insulator. The Turbostar corner insulator is suitable by itself as a start or end insulator, but the Multiconnect provides an even more robust construction. Start and end insulators are permanently under voltage, so it is crucial that they are stronger than the tape. Gallagher therefore always recommends using the Multiconnect for these insulators. The deflectable tab of the intermediate plate allows for mounting a round wire clamp (010851/603568) for optimal conduction of parallel and continuous conductors.
