The Powerline 40mm tape by Gallagher is designed for short, mobile horse fences, offering high visibility and a strong, durable barrier. Its terra color helps it blend with the surroundings while remaining clearly detectable to animals. The tape features a wide 40 mm strip made up of UV-stabilised plastic wires, delivering reliable conductivity across the full length of the fence. A tinned copper conductor of 0.25 mm and eleven stainless steel wires of 0.20 mm are distributed across the width, ensuring that the entire contact surface remains energized. The tape is lightly reinforced with a lace wire at the top and bottom to reduce tearing and maintain tautness, which contributes to safety by minimizing flapping and reducing stress on posts and insulators. It offers a tensile strength of 450 kg, is weatherproof, and carries a 5-year UV guarantee, ensuring long-term durability in outdoor conditions.
