To protect against wounds and blisters when walking, apply a layer of approximately 1 mm of GEHWOL foot cream before hiking or sports activities on the soles of the feet, heels and toes. After 2 minutes, the protective layer forms. The cream aims to strengthen the skin, make it more durable, and help protect against irritation, inflammation, and infections. It is designed to prevent aching feet, excoriations, and soreness, and to deodorize and disinfect, reducing foot odor and the risk of athlete’s foot. The product supports a return to normal perspiration and helps manage symptoms associated with excessive sweating and intertrigo. Camphor stimulates blood flow and menthol provides a cooling sensation, while the base includes medicated soap, Vaseline, lanolin, and talcum to protect the skin against wounds and blisters. The formulation also includes chloroxylenol and oil of thyme for deodorizing and antimicrobial effects.
