By redirecting impact energy, MIPS® provides an additional measure of protection in specific crash scenarios, giving you greater peace of mind as you push your limits.Customizable Comfort and FitAchieve a perfect, personalized fit in seconds with the In Form™ Fit System. This ergonomic dial-based system at the base of the helmet provides up to 6cm of adjustment, ensuring a secure and snug fit around your head. It is further enhanced with Vertical Tuning, which allows you to fine-tune the helmet´s fore/aft tilt to optimize its position and eliminate any gap between your helmet and goggles for a seamless, integrated feel.Superior Climate and Vision ControlNever let changing weather conditions dictate your comfort. The Thermostat Control™ adjustable venting gives you the power to manage airflow with the simple flick of a low-profile button. Open the vents for maximum cooling during strenuous runs or on warmer spring days, and close them to conserve heat when the temperature drops. This is perfectly complemented by the Stack Vent™, which aligns with your goggles´ center vent to draw warm, moist air away, ensuring your vision remains crystal clear and fog-free all day long.Lightweight and Durable ConstructionThe helmet´s IN-MOLD CONSTRUCTION fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell directly with the helmet´s impact-absorbing foam liner. This process creates an incredibly lightweight yet robust structure that enhances durability and ventilation without adding excess bulk or weight, allowing you to ski comfortably from the first chair to the last. Construction: Mips - Multi-directional impact protection system. I.M. The construction fuses a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the helmet's impact-absorbing foam lining. The melting process allows for better ventilation systems, which makes I.M. Lighter and cooler helmets than traditional helmets. FIT SYSTEM - Form fit system makes it easy to dial in a custom fit in seconds, even with gloves on. An eco-friendly dial at the base of the helmet provides up to 6 cm of adjustment and greater stability. Vertical tuning feature accommodates different goggles and head shapes for a custom fit with no gap (gap between glasses and helmet). VENTILATION - Adjustable vent with thermostat control allows you to adjust airflow instantly with a simple low-profile control button on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust, and nothing is more effective at keeping you comfortable. Stacked ventilation on the front of the helmet aligns with your goggles and helps keep them clear and fog free. Seamless compatibility with all Giro ski and snowboard goggles - Giro products have been meticulously designed and tested to work together. We've fine-tuned the pairings of our helmets and eyewear using extensive testing at our Dome R&D center and translating those findings into the perfect seamless compatibility fit. We recommend Giro Balance and Scan glasses. Features: Mips Compatible with aftermarket audio systems. Vertical Tuning
