Glasgow 1770 Sherry Cask Batch #1 Lightly Peated Single Malt Scotch 6 year old 55% ABV Nose: Polished oak, cedarwood and fresh pencil shavings are joined by clementine, orange, toffee apple and vanilla cream, with a soft layer of sweet smoke. Palate: Sweet peat smoke opens into raisins, dark fruits and waxy citrus oils. Candied orange peel and fresh orange oil add brightness, while vanilla and gentle oak spice bring depth and balance. Finish: Gently drying and structured, with warming oak spice, lingering orange oil, a light saline edge and a prolonged thread of sweet smoke.
