Amazon Limited single cask whisky distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2021 after 14 years in oak, at natural strength 57.2% ABV. Only 147 bottles; a bold, rich profile with refined oak and spice from the cask. Glen Moray Wemyss Malts - Clubroom Confidential Single Cask 14 year old 57.2% ABV Nose: There are traces of linseed oil, cricket bats, sawdust, then bruised apples. Water freshens and raises the latter –now waxy green apples, but still with attractive spice and scented wood. Palate: In the mouth, the sweet Speyside character is rapidly followed by raisins and walnuts. Finish: Tingly, spritzich mouth-feel, and a lingering chocolatey finish.
