Notes of ripened plums, espresso and cinnamon; pairs with dark chocolate or aged cheese. Raisin butter and crystallised ginger weave through, giving a warm, indulgent scent. Palate: Toasted honeycomb and fresh brambles greet the palate, edged by baking spices, then maraschino cherries, mocha and plum jam, with treacle and dark chocolate lingering. Finish: Long and lingering with a slight dryness, think mixed nuts with bittersweet dark chocolate.
