Glendronach Single Pedro Ximenez Cask #3326 19 year old 55% ABV Nose: Cola cubes soaked in dark sherry mingle with cherry and nut fruit cake, beef consomme and dark leather. Rich, polished oak supports earthy notes, while nut brittle, treacle and bitter coffee linger on the nose. Palate: Powerful palate of spiced mincemeat and anise, with mulchy forest-floor notes and old oak. Leather-bound depth sits alongside cola cubes and meat stock, peppery glazed ham, glace cherry, and roasted nuts in treacle. Finish: Treacle toffee, bitter chocolate, espresso coffee, aniseed, spiced nuts, dark fruit cake, burnt twiglets, sappy and rich sherry oak, savoury meat notes with menthol and fizzy coke.
