Limited release single malt, only 371 bottles. Distilled in 1994 and aged 20 years in PX octave casks, delivering rich sherry sweetness, dark fruit, and a smooth, lingering finish. Glendronach Octaves Highland Single Malt Scotch 20 year old 48% ABV Nose: Opulent sherried perfume, dense with raisin, fig and date, lacquered in Pedro Ximénez. Velvety plum, orange zest and dark chocolate mingle with toasted spice, a whisper of leather and vanilla, forging a richly concentrated aromatic tapestry. Palate: Opulent and velvety on the palate, this Glendronach unfurls with raisin, fig and burnt sugar, lacquered by dark chocolate. PX sweetness carries orange zest, cinnamon and toasted almond, while sherried oak provides structure. A creamy, syrupy mouth Finish: Long, opulent finish from PX maturity, where fig, date and dark chocolate mingle with velvety spice and toasted oak. It lingers with a warming glow, leaving a final kiss of espresso, caramel and a whisper of leather.
