Palate: A sumptuous palate of treacle tart and roasted walnuts and pecans, opening to spice-kissed mocha with dates and prunes. Orange oil lifts the sweetness, while gingernut biscuits, anise and a touch of mince pies linger with a refined, warming finish Finish: A long, elegant finish of mixed peel and mincemeat, with spicy nuts, treacle toffee and orange marmalade, finishing on a delicate whisper of angelica.
