Glengoyne Single Cask #1921 19 year old 56.6% ABV Nose: Spiced orange, sweet red apples and plum jam mingle on the nose, a bright, inviting start that teases sweetness and depth to come. Palate: Layers of soft oak, spice and cinnamon unfold on the palate, tempered by a gentle sherry warmth that lingers with refined sweetness. Finish: Warm, rich and extraordinarily long, the finish is carried by 19 years in European oak sherry casks. Spiced fruit, dark cocoa and a cinnamon warmth linger, with soft oak framing the glow, leaving a plush, velvety warmth that slowly fades.
