Glenmorangie Astar 2017 Release Single Malt Scotch 52.5% ABV Nose: Beeswax and heather honey drift with coconut fudge and white chocolate, a praline sweetness, hints of butterscotch, apricot glaze on baked pastries and vanilla sponge cake. Palate: Toasted coconut and creme brulee open the palate with creamy sweetness, followed by candied tropical fruit and spicy vanilla fudge. A sappy oak backbone unfolds, carrying clove, orange oil and hazelnut puree for a warm, textured finish that linger Finish: Honey, almond, coconut, dry vanillin oak, apricot jam, egg custard, toasted brioche and late clove spice.
