Founded in 1843 in the Royal Burgh of Tain, in the far north of Scotland, Glenmorangie is Scotland's Favourite Single Malt Scotch Whisky. ON THE EYES: Rustic gold ON THE NOSE: Delicious scents of apple tart and toffee with subtle notes of forest floor, followed by a burst of baked apples, oranges and pears. A splash of water will release scents of butter candy, more sweet pastry and a touch of beeswax, delicately lightened by mint. ON THE PALATE: Toffee apples and baked pears, with almonds and mandarin orange. The sweet fruitiness is given depth and roundness from hints of clove, star anise and soft leather.
