The Glow-worm cap is made to fit the condensate trap in the British Gas, CXI, Eden, Energy saver, HXI, Xeon, and SXI boilers by Glow-worm. The discharge that builds up in the main heating or cooling system as a result of pressure and temperature fluctuations is contained in the condensate trap. Held water is discharged from the property through a discharge pipe attached to the condensate trap. Because CO2 from the combustion process can dissolve in the water and cause low quantities of acid to condense in it, this pipe is typically made of plastic. Condensate can be manually drained using this removable cap.
