The Glow-worm inner door seal heat exchanger is an optional component that can be used with the Eden, Ultracom, CXI and SXI boilers. Heat from a boiler's burner is transferred to water through the heat exchanger. A secondary heat exchanger is only found in combi boilers and allows heat to be transported between closed systems. A primary heat exchanger is present in all boilers and uses heat from a burner to raise the temperature of the water in the system. As gases or water pass through the boiler, seals are created to stop leakage.
