The atmospheric ‘Bali’ ceiling light made from woven bamboo: exceptionally sturdy, highly flexible and fast-growing are just three of the characteristics of bamboo. Bamboo regrows continuously, even when cut regularly, so there is no need to replant it. It also produces more oxygen than trees. That is why the Dutch lighting manufacturer IT'S ABOUT ROMI chose this material when designing the Bali ceiling light. The lampshade is made entirely of bamboo and has retained its natural colour. It is round in shape and woven, creating an attractive woven pattern with subtle gaps through which the light enters the room. This creates an atmospheric interplay of light and shadow, fostering a very cosy and pleasant atmosphere. In addition, a small, round opening is set into the base of the lampshade, through which the light shines directly and the bulb becomes visible. To enhance the decorative effect, it is therefore advisable to choose a filament bulb. Bali is part of the Good & Mojo range from IT'S ABOUT ROMI. You can support the WakaWaka Foundation, for example, by making donations, which in turn are used to provide solar products for families in need who still have no access to the mains electricity supply.
