Lights.co Ibiza ceiling light with hand-woven bamboo lampshade Ibiza is a bamboo floor lamp featuring a linear frame with an arm from which the beautiful lampshade hangs via a suspension system. Fine bamboo slats have been woven together to form the lampshade of the floor lamp, resulting in a beautifully shaped, handcrafted lampshade reminiscent of a sun hat with wavy edges. The floor lamp is part of the urban lighting collection by Good & Mojo, a brand of the Dutch lighting manufacturer IT'S ABOUT ROMI. The lampshades are largely handcrafted in small villages in Vietnam. Each lampshade is unique. The lampshade of the Ibiza series of lights is made of bamboo. Bamboo is one of the label’s core materials and is characterised by its versatility. It grows very quickly – up to one metre a day – and can be harvested in 3 to 5 years. Once cut, new shoots continually grow back from the roots. The light looks particularly decorative when fitted with an LED filament bulb, perhaps even a globe-shaped one. The open shade design, with its many gaps, creates unique light and shadow effects.
