Gallagher underground cable/supply cable XL - 2.5 mm (200 m) This robust, single-pole ground cable with polyethylene sheathing and double insulation ensures a longer service life of the underground ground cable. The ground cable ø 2.5 mm XL is used as earthing for powerful pasture fencing equipment. The result: excellent conductivity! The underground cable ø 2.5 mm XL is also suitable for underground transport of electricity over long distances and can be used to connect several earth rods together underground. Also ideally suited for cables laid in the ground, e.g. along fences and passages. The aluminium-coated core of the cable consists of 2.5 mm thick smooth wire with high tensile strength. This wire has 4 times better conductivity than conventional 2.5 mm underground cables. The resistance is a minimum of 8.5 Ohm/km.

This heavy duty ground cable is coated with tough polyethylene for abrasion resistance in the ground and is double insulated for extra protection. The cable's inner core is 2.5mm medium tensile aluminium coated wire with excellent conductivity, 4 times that of 2.5mm galvanised wire. The cable is ideal for carrying power long distances under ground and can be used for earthing large energisers and connecting several earth rods under ground.
