Marjoram has an aromatic taste similar to that of thyme, but with a sweeter, stronger flavour. Marjoram is one of the 4 herbs used in bouquet garni, this can be used in cheesecloth or sachets to flavour soups and stews. It is great for using in vegetable based dishes, try sprinkling over winter veg before roasting. Use along with oregano, thyme, sesame and sumac to make a tasty za'atar spice blend. Add to meat rubs and use on steaks, chicken or fish.
