The Magna3 pumps are canneD-rotor type circulator pumps designed for circulating liquids in systems wIth variable flows where it is desirable to optimize the setting of the pump duty point, thus reducing energy costs. The pumps are also suitable for domestic hot-water systems. Grundfos MAGNA3 D 32-100 F 220 1x230V PN6/10 is a twin-head circulator pump with nominal diameter of suction and discharge ports 32 mm, and has PN 6/10 flanges. The pump has a port-to-port length of 220 mm. The premium choice for applications where system control and monitoring is key. More in- and outputs have been added to offer increased system intelligence, particularly in small to medium-sized systems. The MAGNA3 has direct input/outputs, analog input (0-10V/4-20 mA) , two relay outputs, and three digital inputs. It also supports fieldbus integration by optional Communication Interface Modules (CIM) and has a colour TFT display for seamless and intuitive configuration of the intelligent features. The MAGNA3 features, among more control modes, AUTOADAPT, FLOWADAPT, and FLOWLIMIT, which allows for perfect adaption to the system needs. Once the desired maximum flow is set, a remarkable energy saving can be achieved. With the FLOWLIMIT function, the MAGNA3 continuously monitors the flow rate, ensuring that it is not exceeded. This will save the cost of a separate pump-throttling valve. The pump is of the canned-rotor type, which means that the pump and motor form an integral unit without shaft seal and with only two gaskets for sealing. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid. The pump has an integrated controller, the control box is prepared for optional Communication Interface Modules (CIM) , and has an intuitive user interface, with built-in differential-pressure and temperature sensor.
