Opposites attract: Gravity designer floor lamp The Gravity floor lamp radiates a very special charm. With the use of natural materials, a symbiosis of heaviness and lightness is achieved. The cylindrical base is made of grey patterned marble, while the cylindrical shade is made of cream white canvas fabric. If dimmable lamps are used, the brightness can be regulated via the foot dimmer installed in the supply line. Space Copenhagen was launched in 2005 by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. The two designers are graduates of the ARchitecture School at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and today focus on interior design, the design of everyday objects and art installations as well as furniture design. Their well-known project is the design of the NOMA in Copenhagen, which was awarded the title of "Best Restaurant in the World". They have also designed objects for Georg Jensen, Fredericia Furniture and Mater. The Gravity floor lamp is manufactured by the Gubi company, which was founded in 1967 and stands for high-quality furniture and lamps.
