Satellite Wall Lamp Soft Black is an exciting lamp with a sculptural expression, thanks to the two long arms that measure 100 and 90 cm respectively. Each arm has its distinct Rigitulle lampshade at the end. The designer Mathieu Matégot invented Rigitulle in 1953. It is a unique technique that bends and folds the fabric-like metal sheet in such a way that it appears aesthetic and organic. A diffuse light glows through the perforated lampshade, illuminating its surroundings and contributing to the cosy atmosphere. It also adds a decorative expression to your décor while the exchange between light and shadow creates a dramatic light in your living room, hallway, reception, or restaurant—Satellite is also fit for use as a ceiling lamp. Modern designer wall lamp Satellite with two light shades The unique design of the Satellite wall lamp comes from the designer Mathieu Matégot. The lamp inspires the design world with its impressive combination of geometric shapes and organic lines. Two lampshades are connected by steel struts. The lampshades themselves are made of a perforated plate of metal, which was brought into the uniquely curved shape by means of the Rigitulle process developed especially for this work. Through the fine gaps of the material, the light of the inserted illuminant is gently emitted into the room and provides a great play of light and shadow.
