INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Teeth should be flossed to remove food debris and plaque from between teeth and under the gum line, where a toothbrush can't reach. Flossing once a day removes plaque before it turns into tartar. Choose a floss that expands when you slide it between your teeth. Cut approximately 18 inches of floss and wrap the ends around the middle finger of each hand. Pinch the floss between your thumbs and index fingers, leaving 1 to 1.2 inches between each finger. Keep the floss taut and guide it between your teeth using a zigzag motion. Carefully insert the floss between your teeth. Slide the floss from top to bottom over the surface of the tooth and also under the gum line. Clean each tooth completely with a clean section of floss.
