Hallertauer Mittelfrüher hops are the traditional Hallertau variety. These hops have a delicate mild aroma with a slightly fruity and spicy character. Often used in German lager style beer as you would expect, they are also particularly good when used with Belgian Ales and European style lagers.arly 1970s. Hop pellets are destalked ground hops pressed into little pellets. Use about 10% less than you would when using leaf hops with a similar alpha level.
