This Hammerite Direct to Rust Smooth Finish Metal Paint in Cream is a solvent-based coating designed for direct application on rusted metal surfaces. It provides a smooth gloss finish with long-lasting sheen and durable protection for exterior metal projects. The formulation supports rust prevention for up to eight years and can be applied directly onto rusty metal without primer, offering convenient coverage for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, certain plastics, and wood. A 250 ml can covers approximately 5 square metres per litre, with touch dry in about an hour and a full drying time of around two hours. Repainting is possible after four hours when conditions are suitable.
