Description Hydrofilm A medical device in the form of a transparent film dressing intended for protecting dry, healing wounds. The product is self-adhesive and waterproof. Each dressing is packaged separately. Composition A dressing made of a polyurethane layer covered with polyacrylate adhesive. Package contents 10 dressings measuring 6 cm x 7 cm. Product characteristics The Hydrofilm medical device is a transparent, self-adhesive polyurethane film dressing that protects the wound from microorganisms and infection. Its transparency allows for constant monitoring of the wound and its surrounding area without the need to remove the dressing. The materials from which it is made allow for the free flow of air and water vapor. This ensures optimal wound healing without causing skin maceration. The dressing can be removed easily and painlessly, without irritating the newly formed epidermis. The hypoallergenic adhesive used in Hydrofilm is well-tolerated even by patients with sensitive skin. Indications The Hydrofilm medical device is indicated for: postoperative dressing of wounds with slight exudate (as protection against secondary infection and mechanical irritation of wounds in the epithelialization phase); securing the injection site; sterile protection of cuts; securing and fastening cannulas, catheters and drains; securing the primary dressing (can be used in combination with specialist and traditional dressings). Contraindications and precautions Before use, please read the instructions for use or the label. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the product's ingredients. If you experience any disturbing symptoms or adverse reactions, discontinue use and consult your doctor. Disposable product. Do not use the same compress twice. Do not use if the packaging has been previously opened or damaged. Store at room temperature. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Comments Hydrofilm dressing should not be applied directly to clinically infected, bleeding or heavily exuding wounds!
