PREMIUM KIMOTO HONJOZO — Brewed using the traditional Kimoto method by Hatsumago (Tohoku Meijo, Yamagata), this Honjozo style sake combines skilled craftsmanship and added brewer’s alcohol for a smooth, layered flavour. RICE POLISHING AT 70% — With a seimaibuai (polishing ratio) of about 70%, the sake retains solid rice character and body while achieving clarity. MELLOW UMAMI & BALANCED ACIDITY — Expect roundness on the palate, creamy almond and mild nutmeg or butter-cream tones; light acidity offers balance without harshness. Fine when served warm to accentuate the more delicate aromatics. VERSATILE SERVING TEMPERATURE — Offers excellent drinkability chilled (~10-15°C) for freshness and elegance, but reveals deeper aroma and richness when gently warmed. Ideal with sashimi, yakitori, creamy cheeses, grilled meats. REFINED TRADITION — Winner of IWC “Honjozo” category trophy in 2018; craftsmanship heritage since 1893; sophisticated sake for both seasoned connoisseurs and those new to premium Kimoto style.
