These carabiners are celebrated for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, achieved through a sophisticated hot-forged I-beam construction. This process intelligently distributes material to maximize strength where it´s needed most while shedding unnecessary grams, resulting in a carabiner that feels incredibly light in hand and on your harness. The wire gate design offers significant advantages: it minimizes the risk of gate flutter during a fall and is far less likely to freeze shut in cold, alpine conditions, making this set a trustworthy companion for year-round climbing adventures. The gate´s smooth action and functional shape ensure effortless clipping, saving you precious energy on strenuous ascents.Connecting these high-performance carabiners is the innovative 16 mm ECO-PES sling. The ECO designation signifies a commitment to sustainability, utilizing environmentally friendlier materials without sacrificing an ounce of performance. This polyester (PES) sling is highly resistant to abrasion and UV degradation, promising a long service life even with intensive use. Its 16 mm width provides a fantastic balance, offering a secure and comfortable grip when you need to grab a draw, yet remaining streamlined and low-profile on your harness. The lower carabiner is held securely in place by a durable rubber Biner-Fix, ensuring optimal orientation for quick and safe rope clipping, preventing dangerous cross-loading.The Hawk QD Wire ECO-PES 16 mm, 10 cm 6-pack quickdraw set is an excellent choice for climbers seeking the perfect balance between lightness and durability. Each quickdraw features Hawk Wire carabiners on both ends, known for their lightweight and functional design. The 16 mm ECO-PES polyester sling provides strength and comfortable handling during climbs. This set is particularly suitable for sport and alpine climbing, offering safety and efficiency on every ascent. The 10 cm length is ideal for routes requiring a shorter connection between anchor points, allowing for more precise and controlled movements. This 6-pack ensures climbers are well-equipped for various situations on the wall, providing a reliable and high-quality solution for their protection needs. This versatile set is engineered to excel across multiple climbing disciplines.
