Hoka Mafate 5 is an all-terrain trail shoe designed for long-distance runs on varied surfaces, offering stability, grip, and protection in technical terrain. The midsole features two foam layers for soft, springy comfort and a firmer, shock-absorbing base to provide protection without heaviness. A reinforced Metarocker Geometry guides the foot through stride transitions and helps maintain control on uneven trails. The upper is a durable, flexible woven mesh with an elastic forefoot that adapts to foot movements, and TPU reinforcements provide additional structure and support. The outsole uses 5 mm Vibram Megagrip lugs for solid grip in both dry and wet conditions.
