Homescapes wooden butterfly house, bug hotel made from ethically sourced alder wood. Colour: Natural. Size: L 15.9 x W 15.5 x H 22 cm Features four vertical entrances on the front panel. Wooden roof has been built wIth an overhang and at a slant to protect butterflies from the rain and wind. 15mm thick walls keep insects warm in the winter, while drainage and ventilation holes keep them dry and prevent overheating. The front panel is on a hinge to make cleaning easy. It is reccomended to put small twigs inside the box, for the butterflies to rest upon. Each butterfly house can be mounted to the wall, a tree or hidden within shrubbery to create a getaway for insects. Wall fixings not included.
