HOPE Road Floating Center Lock Brake DiscCategory: Bike partsSubcategory: BrakesElevate your ride and master every descent with the HOPE Road Floating Center Lock Brake Disc, the pinnacle of braking performance for dedicated road, gravel, and cyclocross riders. This premium disc brake component is meticulously engineered to provide unparalleled confidence and control when you need it most. Whether you´re navigating steep mountain passes, racing in a competitive peloton, or tackling technical gravel routes, these discs deliver consistent, reliable stopping power.Upgrade your road bike with the HOPE Road Floating Center Lock Brake Disc. Engineered for ultimate control, its 2-piece floating design minimizes warping and brake fade by allowing independent expansion of the braking surface and its central carrier. This ensures consistent, powerful braking on demanding descents where heat build-up can compromise performance. The precision-machined round edge braking surface meets UCI regulations, enhancing safety for racing and group rides by reducing the risk of injury in the event of a crash. Featuring a seamless Center Lock interface for easy, secure, and rapid installation, this disc offers optimized heat dissipation and superior stopping power for the serious cyclist. The genius of the two-piece floating construction lies in its ability to manage thermal stress effectively. As you brake, the outer braking ring heats up and expands. By allowing it to float separately from the cooler inner carrier, the design prevents the disc from warping or distorting. This results in a smoother, pulse-free feel at the lever and a braking performance that remains sharp and predictable from the top of the climb to the very bottom. This thermal stability is the key to conquering long descents without a loss in braking force.Designed with the competitive cyclist in mind, the braking surface features a rounded edge, a critical safety feature that is compliant with UCI regulations for mass start events. This thoughtful detail showcases a commitment to rider safety within the fast-paced environment of road cycling. The laser-cut braking surface provides a fantastic friction coefficient with a wide variety of pad compounds, ensuring powerful and quiet operation. The integration of the Center Lock mounting system provides a clean, modern aesthetic and a robust, reliable connection to your hub, ensuring perfect alignment and maximum braking efficiency for your disc brake system. These discs are the definitive choice for riders seeking a no-compromise solution for their performance road cycling machine.---Attributes: Disc Brake, Discs, Road CyclingTechnical Specifications:* Fitment: Center Lock* Design: 2-Piece Floating Construction* Braking Surface: Laser Cut with UCI-Compliant Rounded Safety Edge* Available Diameters: 140mm, 160mm, 180mm* 140mm: 92g * 160mm: 110g. tradeinn Bikeinn
