Hospital Direct Slideezi Washable Tubular Roller Slide Sheet, 430 g

MANUAL HANDLING: Our Slideezi tubular roller slide sheet is specifically designed to make manual handling safer and easier for both the caregiver and the person being moved. Instead of lifting a person, the sheet lets you slide an individual across the surface. Where less force is needed, this lowers back injuries and strain. It can also help carers follow moving and handling guidelines. SUPPORT PATIENTS OF ALL WEIGHTS: Formulated using Slideerzi's advanced technical fibre, the roller slide sheet allows health professionals to safely and effortlessly manoeuvre patients in a variety of ways. With supporting technology, this gives the glide sheet invulnerable strength and robustness, supporting patients of any weight. EASY PATIENT REPOSITIONING & TRANSFERRING: Our slide sheets help reposition into a sitting or centred position. A tubular slide sheet, like slideezi, helps with transferring by making horizontal movement smooth and low effort. Our tubular roller slide sheet is ideal for turning, swivelling and transferring patients in beds or trolleys and enables flexibility of movement without risking injury. SUITABLE FOR BED AND TROLLEYS: Our slide sheets for bed mobility work by creating a low-friction surface that allows a person to be moved by sliding rather than lifting. When using this sheet it needs to be placed under the individual on a bed or trolley, where the fabric forms two layers that glide over each other. This will reduce friction between the person and the surface so carers can reposition or transfer with no risk. Use alongside a hospital bed for lifting. WASHABLE: The washable glide sheet is available in a variety of sizes to suit all bed sizes. Choose from our extensive range of 26 sizes to suit your specific needs. This sheet is suitable for washing at 40–74°C and low-temperature tumble drying to keep the sliding sheet in good condition.
