HSE Large Reserve XO 43 70 cl

This XO agricole rum from Habitation St Etienne contains some of the plantation’s oldest vintages, including rum distilled in the 1960s. With heavy, woody notes and rich spices, this rum has an elegant, refined character. Aromas of orange, pepper, fig and vanilla. After opening, sandalwood and tobacco aromas appear. A soft woodiness also develops alongside vanilla. This finish has three stages: cocoa, sweetness (almost creamy), then a slight tannic edge and tobacco.
