The ProfiPack P425 is HSMs high performance Cardboard Perforator capable of continuous operation and can shred up to 3 layers of cardboard to produce high-quality packaging material. With a 20mm high input slot, the P425 will perforate and trim virtually all common double and triple wall boxes that have been split and flattened as a double layer, for simple, fast and productive operation.Fitted with a powerful brushless DC inverter-driven motor, the P425 produces high volumes of output via a normal 240v 13A power supply with standard 3 pin plug.By punching and embossing a pattern of slits and quilts into waste cardboard, an HSM ProfiPack Cardboard Perforator turns cardboard into a flexible, strong, recycled, environmentally friendly packaging and void fill material. This material can then replace costly single-use plastic alternatives like bubble wrap and air pockets whilst also eliminating waste cardboard disposal costs.Organisations using a ProfiPack machine in an appropriate setting often see a return on investment of under 12 months.The ProfiPack P425 both perforates and cuts and in one process, and with an easily adjustable width setting, packaging can be simply and consistently cut to the correct width for the application. The P425 is made in Germany from high specification and robust steel components for a long and reliable service life. The precision machined solid steel perforation rollers are induction-hardened to ensure an extremely clean cut with minimal ripping, resulting in very low dust output.The cushioning volume of the packaging material can be varied between normal flat output best suited for wrapping, or, with the sprung steel output volumiser engaged, the machine will produce scrunched and volumised output, better suited for void fill.The ProfiPack is simple to operate via a robust keypad with LED indicators, 5 speed settings and an integrated jam clearing turbo-function. It is also fitted with an emergency cut-off switch for maximum user safety.The P425 is a free standing device, fitted with robust castors and a parking break to enable it to be easily moved and manoeuvred on smooth surfaces. This model is also fitted with internal dust extraction ducting with a 50mm push fit output connector suitable for use with the HSM DE1-8 dust extractor or similar, for environments where the absolute minimum dust production is required.
