The Hultafors Hults Bruk Stålberg Carpenter's Axe is designed for precision work suited to skilled craftsmen. Its distinctive finger notch positions the hand directly above the center of the cutting edge, helping to improve accuracy during use. The axe features a handle crafted from American hickory and treated with linseed oil to enhance durability. The head is hand-forged from Swedish quality steel and is struck 40–60 times to increase density and longevity. With a straight edge ground in the Scandinavian style, the axe comes sharpened and polished, ready to use, and is supplied with a leather sheath for protection and storage. This model carries a nod to Ernst Stålberg, one of Hults Bruk’s most experienced blacksmiths from the first half of the 20th century.
