Hypafix is a soft, non-woven fixation tape designed to securely hold dressings and medical devices in place while allowing natural movement. The fabric is breathable, stretchable, and conforms to curves and joints for comfort and reliable adhesion. The skin-friendly, latex-free adhesive is hypoallergenic, intended to be tolerated by sensitive skin, and helps minimize irritation. Its moisture vapour permeability supports comfort during wear and helps reduce maceration. The tape can be easily cut to size thanks to a grid-marked backing paper, enabling clean, accurate cuts for a precise fit. It is suitable for securing post-operative dressings, gauze pads, IV lines, tubing, and other devices, including hard-to-dress areas such as elbows, knees, neck, and joints. The fixation is designed to stay in place with a low risk of edge curling or lifting, and can hold dressings and devices for up to seven days, providing undisturbed wear.”
