Serrations at the heel of the blade can be used on poultry and fish bones.Designed by 2 Michelin Starred Chef Daniel Clifford.I designed the Ryoba to specialise in filleting fish and carving meat. The serrations give it strength at the base to tackle bones. For me, it’s a perfect all rounder.A truly revolutionary blade.Chef Wayne Sullivan.The Ryoba is my favourite tool for fish work. Great balance and precision. The toothed heel is perfect for larger specimens.Chef Tim Allen.Note: The extremely hard centre layer of I.O. Shen knives is not to be used for chopping hard objects such as bone. If you do so, you risk chipping the cutting edge. Only the serrated section of the MSH Ryoba is to be used for bone work.  Knives are not for sale to persons under the age of 18. - all knives and bladed products are delivered by Age Verified Delivery (AVD). The carrier may request proof of age in order to deliver your parcel. If proof of age is not available, or the recipient is underage, the carrier will refuse to deliver.

This I.O.Shen MSH Ryoba Knife is the knife you need for the delicate work of filleting fish and carving meat. The Ryoba design has a specially designed toothed blade that can be used on poultry and fish bones without damaging them. Made from stainless steel, this I.O.Shen MSH Ryoba Knife will hold its edge longer than blade knives, but be careful not to use it on hard surfaces or it'll quickly lose its sharpness.To keep this I.O.Shen MSH Ryoba Knife in the best condition possible, it should be cleaned with a light detergent and some warm water. It should never be submerged in water or placed in the dishwasher.
